Classic children's book
Excellent story of life for a boy and his dog in the 1950's. Written for children ages 8-12, Beverly Cleary captures the wonderful simplicity of a child's dreams and life style of that age. The classic illustrations of Louis Darling bring the characters to life. I am transported back to my first acquaintance with these amazing drawings from my own childhood. All this in the format of a new book- terrific!!
