Superb all around ride
Great for all genres except Metal. Focused silvery ping over warm wash. Excellent low pitched crash without sounding like a gong. Subtle but clear bell that sits just above the mix without over penetrating. This ride is more focused than others in the Masters series making for an extremely versatile cymbal for Jazz, Blues, Big Band, Country and Rock. Great complement to other rides in the Masters series, particularly the Blue Bird Sweet ride ( now called Mellow Ride upon reintroduction ). Sounds great with the dark crashes in the series but also works well with brighter crash cymbals such as Formula 602s. If your looking for a moderately bright ride that still leans toward the dark side with more focus than traditional dark rides and greater versatility, this is the one.
