Surprisingly Good
I was intrigued by the cover and related scenarios associated with this book. Of the "Tom Clancy" authors, I have enjoyed Michaels the best. A nice combination of high-tech military and conventional world war. Highly recommended,

Early Conan pastiche. Good stuff
Two early Conan pastches started shortly after Howard's death. Elak appeared in Weird Tales, the same magazine in which Conan appeared. Raynor appeared in Strange Stories, a competitor to Weird Tales. Kutter has Howard's intensity, coupled with a sense of humor. Good stuff!
