Don't buy this, WASTE OF MONEY
I bought this as a gift my kid would his mom on Mothers Day. She put it on, and not even an hour later, a gem falls out. Distraught, but forgiving, she still wore it thinking that our kid would upset if had removed it. Then, another stone fell out. Nothing was done to the piece to cause these stones to fall out. I felt pretty horrible about having to return it because it's all I was able to afford.
The seller at least took it back and issued a full refund.

Need a display for Amiibo, get this!
When I purchased this, it was at an amazing value, and the unit itself is easy to assemble.
It's a great way to show off your collection.

For the best portable experience, the GBA can't be beat.

wasn't just a gimmicky accessory, it added lot of value by offering g new ways to play or even enhance GBA games with downloadable new levels, power ups or other scan cards that were games all their own.
The only real downside that can't be overlooked is that you need either direct sunlight or a light source nearby to be able to see the screen, a problem that wasn't corrected til later incarnations.
