Sometimes you just have to replace it all
Don't know if the issue is the blanket or controller, but not spending anymore money on controller after 2nd once does not work. Better investment in new heating blanket

Better than my finger nails
It works most of the time but if nut is not partially it just shatters with use if alot of pressure is required.
