More durable than new straps
This type of strap works with Polar and Garmin sensors. It is soft and comfortable and in my experience more durable than the new straps.
Compared to the new Polar soft strap which works reliably just with moisture from your sweat, you need to moisten the pads to get a consistent result with this type of strap.
