Great meal variety, Difficult to find some ingredients.
2 of 2 found this helpful The reason we bought this book is because we belong to a food group where we cook for three other families one day a week while they each cook for us on three other days of the week. We wanted to start making healthier meals so we agreed to buy this particular cook book. We have used it for almost two months now and have found many of the recipes to be tasty while others are less than desirable. It is all a matter of preference. Several of the recipes require ingredients not found in a regular grocery stores. We live in the Phoenix area and have found many of these "special" ingredients at Trader Joe's and Sprouts. We like how the meals are healthy but not extreme. It focuses on low sodium, low calorie, low fat meals and appropriate portion sizes. We would recommend it to friends and family due to the simplicity of many of the recipes, the wide variety of meal cuisines (ex: Eastern Indian, Carribean, Mexican, etc.), includes everything from soup to salad and swordfish to buffalo, and the multitude of recipes in the book. Just know that many of the meals are expensive to make and difficult to locate the ingredients.
