With this motherboard and the right components, no need to upgrade.
I bought my GA-EP45 at Newegg.com over 3 years ago, and it
hasn't given me a bit of trouble. I've combined a 1Tb HDD with
a 32 GB SanDisk "Ready Cache" SSD drive, using it for nothing
else but speeding up and adding power to the computer. The
processor is the equally amazing Intel Quad-9550.It is mated
with 8 Gb of memory(ram),and the OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. The present video card is the all copper MSI 470 GTX
Twin Frozr(2 cooling fans), controlled automatically by MSI's
"Afterburner"
It's a very durable, dependable motherboard that will Play the
likes of "Crysis 1 and Crysis Warhead" almost lifelike. I now
wish I hadn't tried to move up to the i5 series, as they can be very touchy.

A beast when you know how to set it up
Obviously the other two reviews are from inexperienced builders.
This is a very fast, powerful motherboard, when it is equipped
with the right cpu, video card, memory, cooling, and high cache HDD,SSD
drives. Using Windows7, it will boot to desktop within 15-20
seconds, and shutdown within 10. When properly installed, it is very stable. "Crysis" easily plays on "Very High", and the
graphics are close to life-like!
I would have given it a 5 star, but it is an Extended ATX
and unless you know how to Mod your mid tower, it will only
fit in a full tower case. It has a 3-way bios, will do 3 way
SLI and easily overclocks with EVGA's Efleet software.
Actually, I've not found a need to OC, and my MSI all copper 470 videocard handles anything I ask it to do. However, it's
nice to know you are able to expand its power when the need
arises.
Also, the one reviewer insulted EVGA's service as inadequate.
I've been buying both their video cards and motherboards for
years, and their service is the best in the industry.
