Very Cheap
Batteries are very loose and fall right out. They make poor contact. I had to bend the contacts in order for it to work hoping I didn't break it. It still may fall apart on the first bump in the road. Very cheaply made. I do not recommend. :(

Useless
I got 2 of these for my laptops. It does nothing to lower CPU temp. I use Piriform Speccy to monitor all activities. It does nothing to lower the temperature on both units; no change in temperature when the unit is removed. Not only that, one of them is getting very noisy as if the fan motor bearings are failing. I don't know about other users, but it failed miserably for me.

DID NOT WORK FOR ME AFTER MUCH EFFORT
1 of 1 found this helpful Did not work at all. I did extensive research on this. I tried a lot of things and spent many hours with different settings and options. I tried many fixes for this particular unit found on Google. Nothing worked. I am not computer illiterate, either. For the cost of the unit I don't expect much, but there was no CD or information provided with the unit whatsoever about what to do or where to find drivers if helpful or needed. With so many other buyers saying it works great, I am just going to chalk it up to a configuration issue with my pc. BTW, I bought one from Best Buy for $13 (Insignia brand) and it worked great the first try; no problems.
