Save the knees
Wife had a knee replacement and couldn't kneel doing her gardening. This worked great for her so that she no longer needs to kneel but can easily sit and garden.

Great product
Arrived on time, easy to use. Good color and good resolution. It is a quite simple device, a small camera moounted in the top with a backlit screen in the bottom. Takes a picture of the picture. I went through several thousand slides at about 80 to 100 per session and now have them all digitized. The only problem was dirt and dust either on the slides or in the scanner. Dust spots that stay in the same place over several slides are in the scanner and difficult to remove, I used canned air (electronics supply houses have this) and then took the rest out with the included software. Some of the slides were almost 50 years old and this did a great job.
