Due to my personal case being complicated, you might get better results.
I was going to rate lower, but giving a benefit of a doubt since my veins are extremely difficult to find. Getting blood work done takes 20 minutes for a professional, after which I end up with multiple wounds and an arm looking like of someone with 20 years long heroin habit.
It these a bit of practice. At first I thought it was completely useless. Then eventually after learning a bit, even I still managed to see some veins where I never knew they were. When successful at pointing, pressure, angle and so on, they really do absorb the light and show as black lines on red background. Will experiment more, including looking through different digital cameras (different sensors) hoping to see more in the infra red part of the spectra of emitted light (digital cameras see below the minimum frequency/maximum wavelength of visible light).
Manuals and documents included are well designed.. Website should have more tips including videos on successful usage that are important.
Still I believe a person with normal veins would see them "light up" a lot better than I was able to.
