Turn night into day
1 of 1 found this helpful I find this lantern to be everything I need: simple operation, compact and the brightest light from three AAA batteries you will ever get. You just pull up to turn on. There is just one light setting - bright and strong. I do not need high, low and flashing modes; they are just annoying. While most lantern glass is opaque for diffuse light, this one is clear, which must account for its brightness.

There's nothing little about this baby
At 150 watts into 8 ohms, the clean channel is loud and quite bassy. The treble needs to be cranked as it is not a bright amp. Perfect platform for effects and amp-in-a-box type pedals. The gain channel is more of an overdrive, but very useful as a main channel if you like to control things with your guitar volume knob. It likes quad boxes, but I use it happily with a large, open-backed single cab for ease of transport.

Vintage tone
The best way to upgrade a Mexican, or any, Stratocaster. Top quality components and soldering. Just drop it in and voila - a vintage Strat. You have to desolder the output socket to feed the leads through the body and then resolder.
