A bit sarcastic
My children and I find the mouse to be a bit sarcastic. We are currently not finished with the book but so far it did do a good job explaining his stove.

Good follow up
I enjoyed this book but not as much as the prequel. It does finish out the original story, however, there a few things that are not quite believable. Overall the book is good and I am glad I read it. The first one was better though.

Steam Shovel
This is adorable. We read the book Mike Mulligan and the Steam Shovel and this looks just like a steam shovel. The children enjoyed being able to play with something looking like the pictures in the book.
