Surefire E1D Defender
I've been carrying Surefire Flashlights for going on 18 years. I have never been disappointed in any of them. Super Bright and always dependable. While all my Surefire's preform flawlessly, I wanted something a little smaller, always dependable and still produce a large amount of light. This is the light fits that bill to a T. I can have it in me coat or pants pocket, thus having it always with me and always produce the right amount of light for any task.
On the down side. Who am I kidding. I can't find a down side. I trust these lights with my life.

Great Knife
I've had the RAT 5 and it was a beast of a knife. With that said, I would use it for camping and out of doors activities. When building a fire I used it a couple times when I would forget or didn't want to carry an small ax and needed to process some wood. While the RAT5 did the job just fine, I felt that just a little more blade length was needed. I've been happy with the RAT7. It fills the need for a large pack knife.

Great personal light.
I've been using Surefire Flashlights since the late 90's. They have always been tough and dependable. I use mine daily. I'm now on my 7th Surefire light. Its not that they go out. Its just they all have their purpose. Everywhere from my duty flashlight, personal EDC light, weapons lights for my long gun and sidearm, to putting one in the wife's car. I never have to worry about having the light I need when I need it.
