2x 6.3mm 1/4" Female to 3.5mm 1/8" Male Mono Audio Adapter Headphone Gold F/M

Mighty Mini
I use these to practice guitar plugged into my laptop through the red Mic receptacle. Using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Linux OS there are several free open source guitar effect apps I can choose to practice or record my music straight to the computer. These jacks function as expected without issues. I insert the 1/4" male guitar cable into the female end of these adapters and then plug the 1/8" male end into my laptop and practice for hours at a time using my headphones so no one gets annoyed at how great I sound. :) I can rock on my own or to my favorite band using a mixer app.
Dunlop Solid Brass Guitar Slide Heavy Wall Medium

My Favorite
In my 38+ years of playing guitar this slide is my favorite of 5 that I own. I play live a lot using electric guitars normally tuned. The thick wall of this slide provides a good sustained slide tone while in action while keeping the guitar pickup levels low. That is great for stage volume levels, less feedback. This slide is large enough for my middle finger providing extra room for my finger to bend at the knuckle a little giving me better control. It also is heavy enough that it won't begin to ride up my finger. That is important for songs that require both slide and regular guitar playing. I can keep this slide on while playing other guitar bar chords between the need for slide parts, e.g. Rocky Mountain Way - Joe Walsh. In that song I need to play Regular Electric, Slide, and Voice Box guitar solo parts layered together too close to put a slide down and pick it up again. I can solo a bit using my index, ring, and pinky fingers with the slide still on. Oh yeah it fits inside an old Rx pill bottle perfectly. I wipe it off inside and out with some guitar oil and then put it in the bottle between gigs with a small packet of desiccant inside to keep it nice and corrosion free. I've had other brass slides I did not clean or protect and they slowly turn green when it has not been used for a while. Its no big deal you just clean it with brass polish and they're ready to go again. The slide is durable as well, if you drop it it won't break like some glass slides I've used. I hope this information is useful for you.
