Bit disappointed
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm a longtime Thea fan and have almost all of her previous albums and normally rate them 4 or 5*, but this is a mixed bag. The original tracks are good, but some of the collaborations don't work very well, especially My Voice with Billy Bragg and Inverigo with King Crimson. I know its sacrilege, but personally I've never particularly liked Joan Baez and I don't think her and Thea's voices either compliment or contrast well enough to make Inch by Inch work.
Would have preferred a remixed 'greatest hits' including some of the old songs. I'm sure the next album will be better.

OK, but disappointed with finish.
Too early to tell if this will last, but I could see straight away that it needed sanding down and additional coats of varnish on both sides. Wood appears to be ordinary pine and hasn’t been sanded completely smooth. Having said that there are very few places making these and the price and P&P are reasonable. I guess you get what you pay for. And it does look nicer than those awful plastic equivalents.

So far, so good, but...
The plants came fairly quickly & packaging was OK and they weren’t squished or dead, but I was expecting slightly bigger ones with at least some root development- these had none.
Have potted up and so far 4/5 look as if they are growing. Will give it a while and update the review.
