Like a different truck
3 of 3 found this helpful My 2004 f250 Super Duty now rides like a truck with a more "modern" suspension. My year model has leaf springs in the front and was a bit harsh at times while riding. Not anymore. Bilstein 5100's on all 4 corners and it literally rides like new. We've had Bilsteins on other trucks before and they have always lasted well over 80k miles without wearing out. The only shock I will buy from here on out.

Extremely tough old chainsaws
Super XL’s of any vintage are incredibly reliable machines. As long as they have been somewhat cared for, they will continue to run reliably for far longer than many other current models out there. Parts are widely available should you find yourself needing to make repairs. These are less complicated, reliable machines that you can buy for much less than a new one. I have three that are all in service at any given time. They’re loud and they smoke and they cut incredibly well.
