USB 2.0 Tape VCR Adapter VHS Card PC Video Converter Tapes DVD to Audio

Not suitable for the job.

I purchased this device to convert my VHS tapes to digital files on my computer. It was easy to hook up and the software supplied installed easily. When I tried to copy the tapes the preview screen on the software just showed a black and white picture with purple and green lines running through parts of it. It would not display colour. I tried every possible setting available and spent a whole day trying to get it to work to no avail. I communicated with the seller who was very good but eventually he stated that my video recorder must be too old. It was a Samsung DVD/VHS unit, probably one of the last made so I don't know how you could have a newer one. I tried the DVD and it displayed colour correctly in the preview screen. I had connected the VHS to the TV and it displayed correctly so there is no problem with the player, the tape or the leads. It is obvious that the video capture device is not suitable for the job. I have since spent the money and bought an Elgato Video Capture device. Installed the software, hooked it up and it works faultlessly converting my VHS tapes perfectly. A lesson learnt, don't waste your money and time on cheaper devices.

Worth the higher price

This product was easy to use, the software has to be downloaded and installs easily. Don’t waste your money and especially your time trying to make the cheaper types of capture devices work. This will capture colour video and sound from your VHS video player unlike the cheaper type which would not capture the video in colour.

RYOBI Garden shredder

Looking to replace the shredder blades on my Ryobi garden shredder and finding it hard to find blades listed for it. Found the dimensions of these blades to be the same. They are a cheap replacement and gave my shredder a new lease of life. They don't come with the mounting screws though.
