It’s good but the program guide is a long way short of SKY
4 of 5 found this helpful It was very easy to set up, only took about 10 minutes to connect the cables from my old SKY HD box. The channels tuned in very quickly, about 20 seconds I think.
It’s reasonably responsive and the remote is well laid out. The operation of the program guide and setting and removing recordings is way behind SKY but it’s free so I guess I’ll get used to it.
The program guide is almost colourless, it looks very dull and boring and it lacks the ability to rearrange how the channels are listed. There are dozens of channels that I will never watch and I’d like to be able to move them down the screen and list my favourites first to save me scrolling through pages of unwanted channels,
It’s free and over time I’ll forget about SKY and only remember that it cost less than 3 months of my previous subscription charge 😁
