Don't waste your money.
I had one of these in the 1980's. It was great. Low resistance and very much in tune. The new one I recently purchased is nothing like the old one. Resistance was greater and wouldn't allow the horn to center the pitch resulting in very out of tune playing. A real piece of junk. I was looking forward to trying my "new mute". Can't tell you how disappointed I was!!

Clifford Brown was genius that needed to be tributed with this collection!
First of all, this CD collection receives a 5 Star rating. The compilation of tunes is great, spanning his entire (albeit short) career. I am a jazz trumpet player and was thrilled to have found this collection. I have most of the songs on vinyl but want to continue to protect them as much as possible.
This solved my problem. I will buy a similar collection of Chet Baker material.
