They lived through it.
It is a book about the 1st WW as told by those who were on the battle field (Jocks) as written by Jock Duncan, hence the name Jock's Jocks. My father Dave Pitkethly was one of those interviewed and many of his experiences are included in the book, this is of great interest to me his son Blyth and to all members of our family. You have no idea of the value this book has to all of us as we read and re live his ventures during that horrific time in history - Lest We Forget -
