More affordable option than OEM
1 of 1 found this helpful These shades are cheaper than the VW branded ones. I believe the VW ones only come with shades for the rear doors, whereas these include the two small windows in the luggage area. They fit well but are not perfect. Mine have small gaps on either side, but this really doesn’t affect their usefulness. The magnets are strong but the double sided tape used to adhere the magnets to the window frames are rubbish. It’s easy to replace the tape with something better though. They do not affect visibility which is nice. As for light transfer from outside to inside, they do a reasonable job and I suspect about the same as most other shade options out there. For me the main reasons I chose these are the ability to still use the windows while they are attached and the fact they cover almost 100% of the rear door window. Postage was fast and communication good. Thank you!
