0 of 1 found this helpful This is a great action shooter game. The story line is good and the action fast and great. This is different than ghost recon 1. The AI will attack faster and chase after you if you try to run. To get full game feel you have to gain credits per level to unlock guns, soldiers, vehicles.You can have this done befor you complete game in normal mode if you meet all objectives and keep your team alive each mission. This also allows you to do first aide on wounded to keep them going. Alot like First to Fight. lots of multi player options to keep you busy.
They took away the promotion feature you find in GR1 but added a cool shoot around corners and over walls feature that makes close combat more realistic. You will have more detailed command options to have team members put in some dirty work. They dont just cover anymore, now they will blow up tanks and choppers on command. You will have to do alot of lone wolf missions in this one. On normal setting this is not too hard for the vet. gamer, so crank it up a level and strap in for the all nighter.
You will find alot to explore if you look around. Always extra ammo stashed somewhere or you can always trade your weapon for the one your dead enemy has. And when you find yourself playing above normal setting, deep in the crap, you will need the trade.
This game should come with the health waring of sore fingers and possible red eyes. It is a combat game so exspect the violence.

Its average at best, Big Game Hunter and Outdoor Adventures much better.
This had great graphics and sound effects. The weapon and gear selection was good with a very functional fishing on it. The ease to hunt down animals was to easy, no matter the setting or mode . The animal attacks happen way too often too. Of all the Cabelas games, this is what I consider the worst.
Now, if your looking for and easy hunt, with alot of wild animal attacks, this may be you. I found Big Game Hunter and Outdoors adventure by Cabelas alot better than this. You might even find them cheaper.

Aside from that I didnt think it was a hard game to get through at any combat level. You are forced to travel a specific route that keeps you in a small limited playing field. The cinematics and dialog are fun to watch and listen to, the sound rates with the best. But they should have made the field more interactive, more missions and tougher.
If your new to combat sim style games or looking for good story line with very sharp graphics this is the game for you. Just keep in mind you wont do no free lance work on this one.
