Bargain, Ecellent value
Bargain, bigger than the original it replaces and also more robust, bought some more because it was well made and simple, and good value. Recommend.

A lot of research and I am happy I bought this one
2 of 2 found this helpful OK, so there are a lot of options on roof boxes, and you do get what you pay for, unless you choose to pay a premium for a car badged item. I have borrowed Halfords branded box in the past and the blown plastic moulded units are sturdier and maybe more robust. This one looks like it is a fibreglass construction, I could be wrong, and is not as sturdy when the roof is open. Saying this, I do not drive with the box open and the sealed unit is a good shape, well designed and fits together very well.
Fitting it is not difficult as long as you are a practical person. I am an engineer and cannot help but look for clever ideas and weak points. Clever is the front latch, remembering to open the front latch before opening the box, my weak point. lock is perfectly adequate, fixings are good and basic, but also functional.
driving caused no fuss and negligible increase in fuel consumption, so the shape works, when fitted to the largest of the Skoda estates. Wind noise was apparent but not a problem.
For the sake of peace of mind, I always put an extra strap around the box, but that is habit from years of motorcycle packing.
Inside space was good, the box is quite wide, so advise you measure roofbars/roof before fitting.
Conclusion, well worth it, and perfect for our two to three times a year use.

Profile matches my motorhome gutter, perfect.
Happy with the product, from previous reviews it seems some people had an issue with the tape, so I used Scoth 3M VHB tape instead, all seems good.
