With this cable I can use the OEM Micros...

With this cable I can use the OEM Microsoft Xbox 360 controller with or without batteries installed and is the reason I bought the cable. I have found that you can have regular AA batteries in controller while using the cable without issues. In this case the controller switches from battery power to power from the cable. Even if you connect cable to console's USB port, the controller is still using wireless connectivity. It is a used item but it works as intended for my needs.
