A Well Constructed Chassis
1 of 1 found this helpful In my opinion, this is a good grinder chassis. The machining is well done, the arms have no undesired play and the fitment overall is exceptional. This is a major factor for me.They took the time and effort to machine steel inserts into the tooling arms to avoid damage by set screw tension. I have chosen to modify it somewhat by adding a C-Face type motor installation, and "The Belt Grinder" has been very helpful in facilitating these changes. I think it is a good value for anyone who is picky about their equipment and wants to add their own motor, Variable Frequency Drive, etc. The tooling arms allow for swift changes. I recommend getting an extra one, though one can quickly change tools, wheels, tool rest via pre tapped holes if they so choose.
The support for a product is the second major factor in my tool purchase decisions and I do not regret doing business with the Belt Grinder. Should I need another, I would likely buy it from him.

The Belt Grinder Tooling Arm
It's a well made piece, with tight tolerances that fit the chasis of the grinder well, the steel insert for the tensioning bolts is well done and prevents damage to the aluminum. No complaints, reasonable price for the quality, it's a solid piece.
