repair kit

older model from 50's
1 of 2 found this helpful Older kit from the 50's with all the warts of it's age. Based on the 5 ton chassis not the 2 1/2 ton as pictured. Simple kit that should be viewed from it's age. It was a fun two evening build that brought back fond memories of 1959.
It will take some filing and sanding to fit up everything so if you are looking for a Tamiya 'shake & bake' this is not it, but when finished will produce a nice shelf model of a unique weapon system from the "Cold War" era.
I hope they 'dust off' more f these oldies but goodies.
