Worked like a charm.
It is as advertised, and saved me a whole lot of headache. Very easy to put in yourself and tutorials on youtube that show you how. Pulled the old one, it was broken up and in real bad shape and I am surprised it lasted as long as it did. Looked good on the outside though.
Anyway, got here 2 days earlier than anticipated which means I was doing laundry instead of what I did have planned.. Ha.

Should have worked
Did not work with DJI Spark as a data transfer between controller and Samsung pad. At least the one I got did not work with my unit, where another cord does work. The cord is a good heavy cord, but nope, nothing for what I needed it for. It is plausible the cord was randomly bad, and if so, things do happen.

1 of 1 found this helpful Ok, these are refurbished birds.. I went through 3 and finally got a good one. I am hoping my string was just bad luck, as these are really fun quads. ... Make sure to get yourself a controller, it makes all the difference in the world.... I have been using mine (with controller and cheap touch pad) over the river (shhh) and last run was 3000 feet, or considerably over a half a mile and I just figured I better bring it back. The battery life on these is incredible. 25 minutes or so.. Just puttering around the back lot at low speeds I got over 30 minutes fly time and still had like 18%... You WILL have to drill a hole in your propellers. I have ordered 3 that were refurbished through Windsor (this company) and every one had no holes drilled in the center, so the blade would not go on far enough, and man was it frustrating figuring out what was going on the first time I realized finally what was going on. Simple hole in the plastic, but only half of the blades, the others are fine. ALL of them have been like this.... Other problems I have had with the refurbished Parrots (been through several, one I stuck in a tree, ooops) are mis-lable of propellers. they use a color code, and the second one from Windsor had the wrong color codes for one side and it was a bit of a mess for the first flight having to straiten that out. One had no working charger.. so pay attention to details, save every scrap of paper and charge stuff up, drill your hole in the propeller center, load up the FANTASTIC software (I suggest the flight planner addition for 20 bucks, but the free one will get you up and running out of the box) that Parrot offered for this unit, test fly it, make sure it works.. then go have fun and be safe.. Remember, these can seriously injure someone if they fall from the sky. Never fly over roadways and always always follow FAA and local regulations and never exceed 400 feet in the air and learn Federal and local rules and regulations. Pretty quick and easy to do, not much there, but what is there is important.
