Something is wrong with bushing

Seal fits perfect, maybe a little tight on the slip yoke but Seal is good. Bushing fits slip yoke but is difficult to put on trans case, so much so that it gets damaged after pounding it in with homemade tool. There is no actual tool made. Imo it should go in easier. I've installed these bushing before on 48re (with a homemade tool also) with no problems. This takes a 3lb hammer to get it in
