Re/visiting Reb Shabtai Zisel
Shalom & Boker tov...Shabtai Zisel/'Bob Dylan', in 1975 (40 years ago as I write this), using the cantorial chants he learned from CHaBaD (especially in 'One More Cup of Coffee'), reached further, providing us with mar'ot johanna/visions of Johanna, mar'ot shekhinah/visions of Shekhinah...Rolling Thunder Revue was a pinnacle of Yehu'dit creativity no other artist since has paralleled, except by Shabtai Zisel himself. Reb Norman Raeben and the Rebbe taught him well...as did Rav Reuven Maier in 1954...
