Better than other 9" portables
1 of 1 found this helpful My 4th Philips Divx capable portables.(7",ipod capable, 8" etc)
Region can be changed to All(0) as usual.
Xvid is OK, too. (Very often, xivid cannot be played without changing fourccc to Divx first)
Continuous play (Ep01, 02,xx) is OK, also. (Even 8.5" Philips DCP851 cannot play files
continously, Divx means total 10~12 episodes can be burned onto one DVD+/-R
if you must use a remote control to play the next episode every time the one you have
watched just ended, it kills the mode.

Easy to use. Lightweight.
I have several label printers, including brother's handheld
laminated label printers. (Handheld one's problem is always
a typing error using a built-in keyboard.) Thus, using a PC to
type is much easier especially what you see is what you can print
feature via P-Touch Editor.
CONNECTIVITY:
64BIT WINDOWS 7(ULTIMATE) USB connection
Battery/Power Supply
6xAAA batteries needed unless you use
an AC adapter.
AC adapter ( I am using the old AC brick used for other brother
labeler.)
Software:
P-touch Editor
Tape:
TZ laminated tapes
Due to the machine's design, there is a waste of tapes every time you print
something. The tape cartridge is expensive (especially considering the
wastage) However, it is a thermal printing, thus, no ink cartridge is needed.
