Sony H9B 8.1 MP Ideal for All-around digital camera
6 of 6 found this helpful Although not a camera to put in a shirt or jacket pocket, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H9B is small enough to easily carry to any location, or just to have ready for the unplanned photo shoot. Since I use mine mostly at home to take photos of eBay items to sell, that's not an issue for me one way or the other.
The reason I bought the H9B is its ability to get close to the object, as close as 5mm. This is not very common among other cameras in the same category. It produces close-up shots crystal clear to rival anything you can get from much pricier cameras.
I also like the ergonomics of this camera. It fits comfortably in one hand, if needed, and is light in weight to prevent stress during long photo shoots. The large format viewing LCD makes it easy to frame the shot before taking the photo, a big plus.
The menu provides the usual selections for digital photography, but I find getting around in it a bit more intuitive than other camera menus I've used. Same for operator controls, i.e., they are easy to use and thoughtfully designed for convenient application. The learning curve for a typical digital SLR such as a Nikon D60, for example, is relatively steep and long, whereas getting the most out of the H9B Cyber-shot doesn't take rocket science, or a long time flipping through user manual pages.
Overall, this is a great camera for multi-purpose digital photography and, at 8.1 megapixels it leaves little to be desired in resolution for most needs. I know, the new standard is about 12 MP, but 8.0 MP cameras remain very useful and practical. You can't beat the Sony Cyber-shot H9B 8.1 Megapixel camera for the price.

Bulova Precisionist Champlain Stainless Steel Case and Bracelet a Winner
4 of 4 found this helpful The Bulova Precisionist Champlain stainless steel case and bracelet is a very impressive and relatively hefty watch that fits my 7-1/2 inch wrist very nicely. The smooth sweep of the second hand, although driven by a quartz movement, is nearly mesmerizing and almost as smooth as the much pricier Seiko Spring Drive. That's because of the three tine tuning fork used at the heart of the movement sampling at over 266,000 times each second to provide one of the most accurate watches made (not counting digital quartz watches such as my solar atomic G-Shock that syncs with the atomic clock in Colorado Springs, CO) with an advertised accuracy of +/- 10 seconds per year (SPY) which I haven't personally verified. Although large for a wristwatch at a case diameter of 50 mm, and relatively bulky, it wears comfortably and is a constant reminder of the robust quality that went into the production of this unique timepiece.
I have two other Bulova Precisionist watches and my wife has two. All are among the finest in our respective watch collections and they are offered at a price point making them more affordable compared to some more expensive high end watches I find less appealing.
I would recommend this particular model watch to anyone with a large wrist who would like an uber accurate timepiece that definitely is a man's watch, one that is sporty yet can be worn all occasions.

All I need in a cell phone at a bargain price with less monthly fees.
1 of 1 found this helpful Great little basic phone. I went from Samsung S5 smartphone to this LG Revere 2 basic phone and I'm saving a lot of money on monthly service fees from the carrier. This phone provides everything I need in a cell phone and is very user-friendly. It has a camera for snapshots, easy to use text messaging feature once you become familiar with the number key pad, and most important to me, voice comm's are crystal clear on both ends of a conversation. I also use the calendar tool to keep abreast of my appointments and the contacts list is similar to what I had on the smartphone. Overall, this is an excellent fit for me and I'm very pleased I made the downsizing decision.
