Love the scent, hate the performance.

Just does not perform well. Has weak sillage, and weak longevity. Everyone should try it, but for the price it is just not worth a full bottle.
I have a bottle of the vintage from 2010.

Dark & Simple
1 of 2 found this helpful I love dark smells, but only when are slightly sweet. Encre Noire is not that, but it is good scent. It's very heavy on the Veviter obviously. It's a dark & bitter slightly sour smell. I do get the inky smell that many have referred to as well.

2 of 2 found this helpful I have a verfied purchase of a 3oz bottle of this oil. To my nose it smells exactly like the current version of TFOW. I have both the Gold, and Grey labels to compare the oil to. The thing about this oil though is that it is much, much stronger, and lasts much longer, which is the biggest, and probably only knock on the actual perfume itself. So yea, if your having that same issue, and like waking up in the morning and still being able to smell this scent, than this is the answer.
Just a superb job with this oil.
