read it and wonder at the bravery against such odds
This is an excellent book about the sheer bravery of a relative few German pilots who fought and died against overwhelming odds at the end of the second world war The Battle of Britain seems tame by comparison to the actions of these airmen
Disappointed that it ran out of steam and became a bit like how the Yanks won the war towards the end and with the material on the ME 262 available -- this was an opportunity lost by the author for a major historical document
