Difficult read
The book gives very detailed facts, but at the Postgraduate level, which is great if you have already learned the basics. The Digital Media course I am in, is using this book and the entire class is confused. This is due to the difficult read of the book and the professor inability to explain the concepts well. It does not get to the point, it branches out on every concept.

Acceptable
This book is an easy read and enjoyable if you do not have any cultural knowledge of what others experience in the US as minorities, But I felt it focuses more on Asian American experiences more than any other minority group in the US.
