It's totally worth it
It took me 3 times to rebuild my shock, and once i got this kit, it worked. This kit works on shocks as early as 1994. I have a 1998 kx 250 with a 1994 rear shock, and all the pieces fit perfectly. The only thing that i was confused with was that that ring you put in the plunger doesn't perfectly fit so you will have to sand it down.

Great bargain for a buck
i am very happy with the quality of this piece because it is good thick non flimsy plastic with brand new set screws. And cheaper than from the manufacturer
