not necessary
1 of 1 found this helpful havent used it at all in class. not really necessary. It is a good book if your writing skills are not very good and tells you how to write reports effectively.

The book is technical but a good explanation of optics
bought it for class. Haven't used it too much though. The writing is very technical but explains optics well.
