Own 315. Great operation, lousy svs on older
4 of 4 found this helpful My 315 (310's big brother) stopped receiving data recently- out of warranty, no estended warranty, naturally. After 5 second review of problem, Magellan Svs said they haven't service this series for several years (not a big surprise). Offered $20 off on their cheapest replacement unit, up to $100 on $500 unit. This unit operated flawlessly for 3-4 yrs, so perhaps I expect too much but I don't think so. Problem should be relatively easy to find, fix.

Magellan Service
Magellan discontinues support relatively quick (2-05 for this series)- like most electronics mfgrs. We have to expect that going in, in today's world.
I have a model 315 (same series) and have had the same experience.
Great unit for 3+ years, Way Poor service.
They'd rather force you into an upgrade, than fix what you have.
