Good knife should be great.

This is a very nice knife with a great blade steel and a very solid feel due to the rigidity of G10 scales. Like most Benchmades, I think it is a bit over priced. Also I don't like the blamd gray color of the scales. It is about as boring a color as is humanly possible. It's still a great knife. It would be 5 stars with better color and a little less costly.

Decent budget carrier for occasional use.

This a little flimsy and the longevity of the straps are a bit questionable. However, it works. You just need to realize that you get what you pay for and this IS the budget option. As long as you are diligent in checking the tightness of the clamps and screws periodically, it’ll work fine. Some Blue Loc-tite on the mounting and assembly hardware is advised. Keep an eye on the condition of the straps if used a lot as they will likely start the fray and need replaced eventually as they are pretty cheap nylon strap. Installing the straps is kind of fiddley as well. Overall, if you need a budget carrier for occasional use, I think this fits the bill over the more expensive name brand options. For regular or daily use, I’d spend more to get better.
