Waiting For the Moon - excellent writing and acting
I had seen this movie some years ago and it haunted me. Finally it dawned on me to find it on eBay. I am so glad I did. The writing and acting are so perfect with the depiction of Gertrude Stein and Alice B.Toklas surpringly human and inviting. The scene around a campfire with Apollonaire where they may or may not have eaten "magic mushrooms" is enchanting. No car chases, no nudity, but I recommend it anyway. Thank you.

Gram Parsons - Sleepless Nights
My favorite of all the great work done by Gram Parsons in his short tortured career. Indescibably enhanced by Emmylou Harris doing what she always did so well, harmonizing perfectly with her man. Every song is exactly what it should be. One of those "Desert Island Discs" you can't let get too far away.

1 of 1 found this helpful The research, compilation, and attitude are terrific. It's the Bible that lets you down -- a bit. But, all in all, a very amusing book -- dare I say it -- a good toilet book!!! There I've said it.
