5 of 7 found this helpful I bought this book when my interest in witchcraft first took hold,it is written as though silver is talking right to you.She tells you little antidotes about how or why she decided to create a spell.By the time you finish this book you will want to by the sequels just to follow along with her on her journeys.It may seem a bit fluffy to no nonsense people,but to someone who may just like to read or learn with a lightheart it is a good learning tool.And fun to boot.

quick and fun.
4 of 4 found this helpful Silver Ravenwolf writes with a witty tongue and fun words.At the end of this book you feel like you might know her,she could be a neighbor.Some of the suggestions may seem a bit far reaching (a few spells)but maybe not impossible.But you do learn some good points of witchcraft.You could actually carry on a conversation even with a more knowledgeable person,a polite one..ha ha...some witches are know it alls.A fun reading book that sneaks alot of knowledge in playful words.

real reading
This book is down to earth with no flowery words.If you arent looking for pretty disney like characters,this book will actually help you decide if witch craft is what your looking,or maybe just learning that what you thought was witchcraft really wasnt.Its plain words and interesting reading.
