Panoramic, interesting portrayal of a unique man
Together the cinemaphotography and the acting by Peter O'Toole are the greatest things about this engaging film. The overall grand felling you get when watching helps you understand Lawrence's love hate relationship with the desert. Lawrence is portrayed as a complex man, whom you feel has secrets not addressed in this film, but which give his character an uneasy and nervous edge. Omar Sharif and Anthony Quinn are also very good in their roles, Omar's character, a tribal prince, next in line as his tribe's leader, learns to love and admire Lawrence, whilst not always necessarilly understanding or always agreeing with him. Quinn's character, whilst more of a gritty and blood thirsty tribe leader than Omar's character, also is in his own way is in awe of Lawrence. Lawrence is a determined man, with his own reasons for doing what he does and a man who dances to the beat of his own drum, is so beautifully portrayed by O'Toole in his debut role, that you feel for Lawrence, enough to try and understand some of his choices and to some degree also growing to love and admire him. A good way to spend a few hours and worth sticking with the slower pace of the film all the way to the somewhat expected and perhaps inevitable ending

One of the best mini series ever made
Suburb acting, particularly by Paul Giamatti. Suspenseful, dramatic, interesting presentation of historical facts. Have searched for this vid forever, at a reasonable cost. Pre-loved but still happy as vid in good condition

Delighted with quality, value for money
Great to see made in the US, very hard to find anything made in countries with a history or quality production. Yet to use though
