Useful capacity, quirky form factor
The 1TB storage capacity in a laptop-size disk comes in very handy. Using one in a unibody MacBook Pro works rather nicely, but only because there's just about enough room for it under the battery cover. Beware, however, the form factor. If you want to use it as external storage, the slim enclosures won't fit. These disks are a bit fatter (taller) than the typical 2.5" disks, so won't fit in many 2.5" external enclosures -you'll have to hunt for one that allows for taller disks - needs a couple more millimeters.

Sharp and bright
Excellent for work in low light conditions, the large aperture makes it virtually childsplay to capture deep tones in natural light. Reasonably fast focus, produces very sharp images. Although the 50mm f1.2 might be slightly better, this costs around a quarter of that and is more compact.

Mamiya 50mm Shift f/4 for 645
Smooth action, easy to adjust, nice click-locks for the various rotation positions. An excellent lens for perspective control on the 645. The color-coded shift limits are a nice touch. You can tell you're about to clip the frame if you shift past the color limit, depending on how the lens shift axis is rotated.
