Horrible Quality

This product appears good when you first see it, but it is made with very low accuracy. Most annoying was its big screw holes, made perhaps to accept quarter-inch bolds. You need to use washers if the 3.5" component only accepts smaller screws. The critical sides where screw holes were look simply tapered in thickness. Very disappointed StarTech should let such low quality stuff use its name.

Good Hardware bu Very Poor "Software"

The card worked OK but the installation took a real while. It came with an instalation CD but with NO instruction print on paper. Nor did the CD come with any "Read Me." It contained several folders for different models/brands. There was no way to identify the card's brand or model, neither on box/bag nor on the little paper or printed on the card itself. Windows did not recognize or install its driver, which was why it came with a CD, but I had to guess which folder on CD contained the right file to install by trying them one by one. For the money the customers paid they deserve being better informed. Although the hardware appeared OK, my advice would be avoiding this product and go for something else that will treat you better and with dignity. Thanks for reading this.
