Plenty of ants but no Adam!
1 of 1 found this helpful I grew up watching Sc-Fi and horror! I remember when I was a young boy and seeing this on TV. Then I thought it was exciting. Now I still feel the same. Although some will laugh at the giant ants, one has to remember when this movie was released (1954)! I still enjoy it and I'm near 50 years old. It's also very educational if you want to learn about ants :-the little movie shown to the police and such is very informative. Yep, if you like the classics then add this to your collection. Good box with nice art cards too!

An oldie but goldie!
1 of 1 found this helpful The 3D is absolutely brilliant especially when you think how long ago it was made. Nice clear crisp picture and nice sound. Excellent cast. Nice extra features to keep one busy. Can't say much else but go buy it and experience the sci-fi fifties in action.

The first and best version!
1 of 1 found this helpful Another classic. I always remember how intriguing the beginning of the movie was (which was the end too, sorry spoiler). Also the setting being just before new year 1900, the snow outside....ahhhh great memories this move has for me. Great effects (again for it's time, released 1960), great cast. Not a big fan of the remake. If you like the classics then add this to your collection.
