Not suitable because of soft/thin metal used in their construction.
I bought these brackets to replace the rusty ones on my Mercedes SL320.
However, these items just about fitted for the rear mudflaps which I have used, but because the metal of these brackets is soft/thin they give way under tightening, failing to give a tight and trustworty securing to the body of the car on the front flaps.

P38 lower tailgate wire supports
The low price of these items represent good value when compared with RR original part price, but could be improved by extending the length of the ruber covering so as to fit fully under the rubber boots at each end. Mine have been cut short exposing some of the wire cable on both of the items that I purchased.
The real test though will be is how well they perform under use, and whether they break easily under strain.

Arrived in very good time, and represents excellent value at the price and quality when compared to the equivelent item from a Rage Rover main dealer
