It wasn't for me
This is a beautiful looking instrument and Fender has certainly improved their noiseless pickups but I didn't like the compound radius neck nearly has much as I thought I would so I had to send it back. Oh well.

Marshall 5w tube combo
I couldn't try this amp before buying as none of the local retailers carried it and I must say that it sounds exactly liked I hoped it would..........classic Marshall tone in a small package. It's a great practice amp and I think it would be superb as a recording amp as well. If you need tube tone Marshall sound without spending a small fortune I don't think you can go wrong with this.

wasn't crazy about it
0 of 2 found this helpful I can't give a very detailed review of the MXR since I have limited experience with overdrive pedals but to me it didn't really distinguish itself. The tone was ok but nothing to write home about, as they say. I bought it out of curiosity since it is an older pedal. To use an Ibanez Tube screamer as a reference point, I would say this probably has a little more gain available but the tone just didn't grab me for some reason.
