Still loud but softer tone
Fitted perfectly to my 2000 Dyna with Pro Pipe 2into1. Still loud but taken the harshness out of the tone. very pleased.

Great digital voice recorder for business and home use
I bought the DS-2800 to replace an analogue voice recorder.It has a much better sound quality and is not so badly affected when dictating outside in windy weather. The transcription kit is required to make the best use of the recorder, which is easy to use and set up on any PC or Mac. Care needs to be taken when you first use the recorder to ensure you record in the right file as there are 5 main sections (A-E) and it is easy to jump into another file and wonder where your recording has gone. A huge improvement over the analogue machines is that it is virtually impossible to accidentally erase files. Battery life is good and the machine has a huge memory, so you dont need to wipe things off to make room for the next recording. All in all an excellent machine.
