Perfectly adequate for my needs
I got this screen protector to reduce finger-to-tablet friction for apps that involve dragging the finger around the screen a lot. For this function, it is perfect; it has the exact texture you would expect from a 'matte' screen, and that's all I really wanted.
Otherwise, It doesn't reduce visibility appreciably, the adhesive does not seem so strong that it would residue when removed. It reduces glare a bit, though I'd say it errs a bit on the side of visibility over glare reduction.
I recommend taking your time to clean the ipad thoroughly before application, and applying it promptly. Little particles floating in the air, tiny cat hairs etc. will all cause bubbles to form, but theoretically if you were to apply this in cleanroom conditions this would not happen.
For being <$3, there isn't honestly anything to critique.
