Beautiful illustrations, best for very young children
The illustrations were great, but the text was disappointing for our purpose--we bought it for a very smart 9-year old grandchild who is deeply interested in insects, especially mantises. We had to return this book and look for one on a more advanced level. It would be fine for kids just beginning to read and learn about nature.
